Done by some fellow I've never heard of named Wes Crave or Wes Quave, or Wes Craven. Seems to be considerable confusion about that.
Cool name. I'm going to have to vary that slightly for a gal toon.
But I digress.
Can't imagine what it must be like living in a town like, say, Cleveland, where they talk about The Curse, and they tell me they haven't had a championship team since some ungodly span of time like 1964.
But they say it's actually more heartbreaking because they have apparently come very close MANY times, and just fall short.
They get Lebron James and after seven years he leaves because he can't convince anyone else to come to Cleveland.
A shame really.
I remember Ohio State University, the last year we won a national championship, in 2002, it raised the mood of the whole campus. It made me forget about the cold, which was fricking brutal on this California girl. Made me forget I was in love with a guy (Roy) thousands of miles away...well a little bit anyway.
We won, 31-24 in double overtime, against Miami. It was awesome. I cried. So I know how good it feels to root for a team (backup cheerleader dontcha know?) that gets to the top.
Pretty easy to have that feeling here in Los Angeles. The Lakers have won 16 championships. They're making up for the Dodgers, who need to get their s**t together. Well, the Dodgers need an owner who isn't a JACKASS.
But I digress again. This is why I also still love YouTube. Kinda dated as a platform now and still prone to horrendous video and audioo quality, BUT someone always comes through and finds what we are all looking for. This song, in this case.
Live in a town like L.A., and you'll get to root for champions. And people make cool music, like this...
He needs to re do this with game highlights now. Take something like this, and sync it with the music...oh and it's spelled C-H-A-M-P-I-O-N-S, lol.
